I won against Mad King Thorn in Rock, Paper, Scissors

I got the reaper's mask, though, when I wanted the tricorne. Just a quick question, if I do it again, will I definitely get the tricorne, or do I need to be on a specific numbered server (like an even numbered server or something?)

Tricorne is given in Lion's Arch, hood in Kamadan.

Hmmm...executioner's hood. I'm thinking we need a hammer that looks like a huge axe and does slashing damage.

Kinda like the hats - tricorn looks great on certain characters and black hood look very nice with elite kurzick necro in spite of some clipping with the collar.

Oh and I just want to add that I very much enjoyed it all this year. Loved the addition of the mad king hex that rewards you for not being afk and the challenge mission was fun even if I couldn't do it in less than 6:30.

Not sure its a bug, i just noticed my Derv was showing its Reaper Hood in the character select screen.

First time i noticed any of my chars were showing any of their festival hats.......in the character select screen.

Not a bug. The login screen will show the festival hat if you have "always show" selected for both the hat and the head gear. However it does reset - not sure whether it is closing gw that resets it or not. but when i log in for a new session the hat usually no longer shows.
